A few pics from sat at atl dragway. There is one of the young Lady and me that drives one of the jet cars and some of the car show, more to come , good time had by all (got the video of the jet cars!) :clap:
 
Looked like a fun time, Robert. The girl with the jet car is from Embry- Riddle Univ. in Daytona Beach right?

Yeah i took #308 to show, look close you can see it in 2 pics, just wanted to check everthing out:eam:, next time #818 will be there with bad intentions; not that far away ttarider

Meant to make it out on Saturday but I didn't head over there until Sunday. A few less cars in the car show but the autocross did look like fun.

I got there about 3:30pm fri , rained from the Grady curve all the way to exit 149, i guess that throwed a monkey wrench in the schedule cause at 8:45am sat it was a clusterfusk, a hr and 15min later i was unloading; i think more people showed up than was expected. The autocross and everthing else was great, alot better than i expected; at least 10-15 hotel/motel within a mile of the track. I bought tickets for Sat and Sun but decided to go home Sun morn because of the ordeal of getting in and out Sat. Btw it must be a good track cause' all of these guy's were haulin' ass, 10-sec 1/4 was no big deal (i think i need a faster car, lol) :drool:

Yeah, I don't think they were running a full 1/4 though. It seemed to be 1/8 or 1000' for some reason. The classifications looked confusing for the racing and the car show which is part of the reason I didn't jump in...and I've been to plenty of both before.

I can't speak for Sun but Sat it was 1/4 most of the day , then they started jumping around alot between the two, didn't make alot of sense and was definitely confusing...
 
That's another reason i didn't come back Sun, Sat was editor's choice(car show) and Sun was all the diffrent class awards, to be announced at 4:30pm, wasn't waiting around that long to see if i won something competing against these high-dollar cars, i just look this way :rolleyes:
 
Yeah, I didn't understand that schedule either. Awards for the car show on Saturday & Sunday? Weird. I might just do the autocross next time. That looked like the most fun out of anything! I took a bunch of videos of that.
