Look what greeted the wife and I at dinner tonight in Springfield, IL on our way to visit our daughter in college in St. Louis....

Anyone know anything more about this pace car? Looks like a 1989 Firebird Formula.. complete with cracked spoiler. I do love that ice cold rocky mountain water......mmm...

Interesting. I used to see a Grand National painted up like the Miller Genuine Draft stock Car around my old home town back in the 90's.

Its a trans am with firebird/ formula tails in it, beatup gray leather interior and the car was wraped by Canham Graphics in Springfield IL.
I'm there quite often, only live 30mins away..

Inside there is a 96ish vette drop top on the ceiling thats wraped in Illini orange colors.
There is also a yellow 05 stang on the lift that a shop i used to work at bought. We stripped a brand new car down and raced it in a NMRA class and were a tenth or 2 away from the record. It was also in a few Mustang mags. Stock 05 motor with a F1 Procharger, we knew it was a time bomb but it never let go!

Our local Quaker Steak and Lube (North Canton) has a cruise in every Sunday (starting sometime in May thru September). I took my TTA there, the Fiero and the MSE last year. One of those Corvette bodies is in there hanging upside down and our painter did the work. The food there is awesome!

YES. I forgot to mention the food and service. OUTSTANDING!!! Highly recommend stopping at one if you get the chance. I wish I was closer, sounds like they have great cruise in's too. They are giving away a $15k Harley this summer too.

Yup, thats the Mustang I helped build. I drove that vette around a lil bit b4 it was stripped of its drivetrain.
