As far as the Volt Booster goes, I'm still on the fence about that one. I've had Casper's still in the box for 3 years and just never got around to putting it on.
I'm in the progress of changing some things around right now and I've thought about adding it. So I posted a forum a week ago that has had some interesting replies both pro and con. jack Cotton chimed in with some comments that's putting me on the pro side. Some say it'll run your alchy pump harder (if you have alchy) but isn't that why you have a knob to adjust pump speed...Hello, that's what I'm gonna do. DontKnow:
Take a look at

As for the Adj Fuel reg, if your after running more boost your going to need more fuel period. This is must and if you go to a buick meet everyone running faster than 12.99 has one. If your going to supply the additional fuel the regulator is calling for your gonna need a bigger fuel pump too. You can richen the mix all day long, but if the pump can't supply the juice your gonna run it lean in the higher RPM. A good in tank fuel pump is a good thing. I run an additional bosch external pump that will feed the motor more than it will use. I felt overkill in this area couldn't hurt. It's been on the car since 92 no problems. I also run a cartech fuel regulator in addition to the accufab stock location reg. When cruising the reg is set at stock fuel pressure, the cartech is t'd into a boost line, when the boost comes up it applies pressure to a diaphram inside the cartech reg which in turn ups the pressure to the stock located accufab reg. So car idles at 29 psi then goes to around 62 psi at 22 lbs of manifold pressure/boost.
When you get the dump put on, the boost IS going to go UP. Red's chips are probably really good. Red's ran faster than most people on this board with a stock looking set-up and no alchy or atleast he did when I was going to the buick meets more regularly. When you get it installed your going to need a boost gauge, also your gonna want to be able to adjust your waste gate manually in case his chip is set up to raise boost without the consideration of a dump. His chip may be set up to run the boost up to 20-22 with a closed exhaust, when it's open it's gonna go higher, just will. I've been running a dump since 93 and I have to turn the boost knob down a bit, though with the alcy installed I've been letting it ride. This is where you really need a in car boost control. I use an HKS digital controller, it allows the car to spool up faster and goes exactly to where you want and sticks to that pressure setting like glue, it also measure boost in milliseconds-faster than the stock ecm's measurements. I think RJC is a favorite boost control of the buick crowd. I like the HKS and it allows for valet setting, low, high and a on the fly knob. I set the knob to 22 out of the hole and through, 2nd, 3rd and then when I hit 4th I close the elec dump pipe and hit the high button, takes it down to a more comfortable 18psi for a sweet top end run. (watch out for deer, at this point cops aren't the problem as your local cruiser seems to top out at 120mph:whistle: ) All the mods your doing sound good, but I'm not sure about the bung thingy, what's the idea behind this?
Oh yeah, get a RJC poerplate. It WORKS. It redistributes the air to the back two cylinders more evenly and it's CHEAP!

Good luck, atleast your going to learn alot in the process. I do think that the best money you could spend is on a Scanmaster to really tell waht's going on and with your dump pipe open, your not going to be able to HEAR any knock like you would with it closed. Be safe and have fun.:cowboy:
