I GOT MY TTA OUT OF STORAGE TODAY AND OPENED THE REAR HATCH ONLY TO FIND IT WILL NOT OPERATE AT ALL NOW. IS THERE A MANUAL WAY TO OPERATE THE HATCH IF THE MOTOR WILL NOT OPERATE OR IS IT BUY A NEW MOTOR AND REPLACE IT THING. IT IS STUCK IN THE DOWN POSITION AND DOES NOT DO ANYTHING AT ALL. ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

No manual way to operate it, forcing it up or down will brake parts :-(

There's a microswitch at the top so if you try to flick that one with your finger and see if it goes up and down?

Check if you got power back there? DO you have the electric schematic?

You can repair the unit, check out Top-DownSolutions.com for parts you might be needing.

Like Jan said, stick your finger down there to activate the switch and see if it pops back up. This happened to me a long time ago and I ended up replacing the entire motor assembly only to find out about the easy solution later. :thumbdwn:
