Replacement Muffler

I saw on the TTA FAQ page, on another site that the Dynomax (Walker) 17266 Stainless Steel Muffler was the ideal choice for a replacement muffler for our cars. They claimed it had a good sound without that irritating drone sound coming through the cab while you cruised down the road. Any opinions? Keep in mind, somehow my catalytic converter fell off somewhere... don't tell the tree huggers. :rofl:

I'd like to hear members reviews on the Dynomax muff listed above as a stock replacement.

Tough to make these V6's sound good.

Thought about trying the Hushpower made by Flowmaster.

Muff's and resinator's kill the whistle...bummer

I don't think you will find much info on this subject due to so many low mileage TTA's out there with no need for a new exhaust, i have a aftermarket muffler but no idea what brand but doesn't sound bad... the Walker may turn out to be your best option for the price...

I got a bolt on system from Mac exhaust. It came with some longer slant cut, rolled edge resonator tips. It helped a lot with resonation. I put on a test pipe of theirs at the same time.

Alright I actually need a mufler now. I'd like to retain my stock exhaust. Anyone know a direct replacemtn mufler besides the walker?

Looks like I may go with the Walker. Only direct replacement I can find. I've used Walker quite a few times because I've always liked the sound, however their aluminum muflers haven't lasted too long. This one is stainless and looks pretty cool.
