Hey guys,
My car has been in the shop for a bit - some issues with getting it to pass CO (read CA) emissions.
Turns out that a couple of the stock injectors were bad, so... we got new injectors.
As it happens, I have a couple of TT chips: stock injector chip and a stock emissions chip.
The car has historically passed CO emissions (with a cat -heh-) using the original injectors and the stock TT chip.
I bought BOSCH Part # 0280150218 replacement injectors and the shop tells me that now the Bosch injectors make the car run more rich than before.
Also that the stock TT chip and the emissions TT chip now make no difference to the emissions profile.
They tell me that the MAP sensor is also suspect as it does not appear to be stock.
Do you guys have guidance on how to handle replacement injectors for a stock setup and a stock TT chip? Do I need to get a new TT chip with flow-matched injectors? Seems overkill. Or maybe the original injectors cleaned? Or perhaps I have the wrong Bosch injectors for our cars?
I don't have any plans to increase power in the car. All other components are stock except the catback exhaust.
Thanks in advance!
