Rim question

Mike Arrigo

Well-Known Member
I am looking at these rims for my fun TTA and wondering if anyone knows if they will fit our cars? I know the tire size 275/40/17 will fit since my brother has the same size tires with the Ronal Firehawk wheels on his car, but I am not sure of the bolt pattern or offset for the 2002 wheels will fit on our cars. Thanks in advance. Mike http://chicago.craigslist.org/wcl/pts/3903304325.html

should be like weld as long as u don't mount tires they will take them back or order that rim tire sizing gauge from summit

I would be buying the set from a private seller from the Craig's List add. I think they should look really good on the TTA and the tire size would be awesome. Not sure if I need spacers or not if anyone knows.

If I remember right, the front will fit, but the rear will need spacers. The off set on our wheels are different front to rear, and theat makes it a little difficult finding rims to fit. The rears out of a 4th gen will bolt right up then you wouldn't need spacers.

I am with you Mike....they will look awesome on the TTA and I am sure you can get them, tires and wheels for a great deal on craigslist....GO FOR IT!!!!!!

This is my car.
Those wheels will fit with adapters. Most guys claim the need for 2, 2.25, 2.5s. I don't like the way 2" plus spacers stick the wheels right out to the edge. It really depends on your front/rear brake setup. It's also a good idea to install a adjustable panhard bar to center the rearend.

I have BAER 13" brakes all around and I run two 1.25" and two 1.5" adapters. I don't remember which end I have what size on.

Thanks for the input. I think I like the 1.25's or 1.5's for the rears if I get the rims. I now know they will fit and I will just have to decide on spacing. Spacers aren't to bad in price either, about $75-$100 I see.

I finally got the wheels and got them installed with the 2" adapters and I think they look pretty good.

look like black zr1/ss wheels ? wheels are a personal perspective im sure a lot don't like my gold weld magnums but I do! At the end if u like them that's what counts

Black rims seem to be all the rage right now. They are cool rims, but not quite my style. I can appreciate the look though Congrats!

The original rims and tires were pretty beat up and worn out, so I came across these for the right price. I am planning on lowering it about an inch or so to give it a better look for sure. The wheel size is 17x9.5 with 275/40/17 tires.
