Sad story--Pontiac gone

What really gets me is that GM could have saved the G8 with some minor styling changes and brought it back as an Impala. But they made it a cop car only, and continued with the FWD Impala.

totally agree of if they wanted to resurect a cool namplate that wouldve made a cool monte carlo ss...imho

i deff agree..interesting story a michigan pontiac dealer owner offered to purchase pontiac and one of the closing plants to continue to run the brand as sort of a niche brand...and gm denied there offer sayin pontiac is not for sale...my guess is there taking time off to rebrand it and hopefully it will come back with a bang!!!!:burnrubber:

Wow could you imagine that!!! Owning your own pontiac factory? Crazy! You'd have to be super rich to buy something like that.
