Hello,
Glad to see this forum is alive and kicking. Well, my TTA is one of the 24 Hardtop with Leather combinations. I have owned it since Sept. '93 from the original owner from Houston, TX. It had just under 4000 miles on it then, now has just over 14,000 miles on it now. The car is modified slightly (only a few I suppose are bone stock) with a test pipe replacing the converter, plenum spacer, PromPaq Chip Selector with 4 chips, and several other mods. The car has sat in my garage for almost two years. I really need to get it out and drive it around again. This forum and looking at some others web pages for this car has got me interested in her again. I really did not want to put any more mileage on her, but you got to drive it sometime to keep things lubed so, guess I'll plan on getting her out soon. I look forward to talking with some of you folks. I am a Pontiac lover. I saw the TTA new at our dealship here in town, just was too rich for me at the time ($38,000 new!). I had already bought a new '88 GTA six months prior for just over $20,000 and could not see selling it and still having to pay almost another $20,000 for a 20th so I waited till I found a hardtop car for sale. I paid $24,000 for mine now in '93. I also own a '80 Indy Pace Car Turbo Trans AM (needs full resto), '81 NASCAR Pace Car (all original), '81 Esprit, '81 Turbo Trans Am (actually the Wife's), '86 Grand Am (again, the Wife's), my '89 TTA, '90 Bonneville SSE, '92 Grand Prix SE with the B4U appearance package (looks like GTP or Turbo Grand Prix) and the 3.4L DOHC engine. We also own a '88 Chevy Truck as well. Anyway, this is getting long. So I will finish here and say bye for now! Here's to the TTA's!
Regards,
Carl Miles
