I owned a white '71 years ago; they weren't slow. Wouldn't touch my TTA, but pretty fast at the time.

yes, i agree. i actually have one now and while it might not be as quick as the TTA it is most definitely NOT a slow car at all....

The only thing slow about these car's was the rate they came off the assembly line....in stock form they were hard to beat.. outside of a 74 ta the 70-73 formula was my favorite 2th gen....
