We removed our console to install new carpet. Upon removal we noticed a small, metal clip/tab laying under the console rear portion. Upon removing the console and turning it upside down we noticed the metal clip/tab was previously in a plastic slot/sleeve but that plastic broke and the spring is no longer connected to it. Does anyone have a picture of how this is supposed to be? The broken plastic surround is so small I feel I can fix this to where the metal clip/tab will remain in place. The spring looks to be in good shape. I have not been able to find an owner's manual for the car or service manual. I do have the supplement but not opened it.
Also, on another front, see attached pic of a single, green wire that has been discovered upon cleaning the engine bay and area in the front of the engine. The former owner installed all kinds of gauges and various wiring schemes, and some have not been attached at either end so this could be another one of these. I have not found the other end of the wire as it runs inside a harness. I am going to keep looking.
