Steering wheel radio controls

My steering wheel controls are not working with the consistency that I would like them to. Reminds me of having dirty contacts. Does any one know if there is a way to clean the contacts or if there are any common issues with the controls.

You can clean the contacts, they are the conductive type so a rubber piece is pressed down against the actual PCB and of course if a film of dirt is on the PCB you will get some erratic behavior.

You can easily take it all apart and clean the PCB contact areas.
