Kept mine stock.
My favorite music is that of a well tuned motor.
When I was your age, music in my ride was very important.
Not any more.

ROCK ON!!

Yep JVC with ipod interface ... also custom made a steering wheel control (for a GM Opel) to work with our steering wheel :-)

You hit the nail on the head! I've had so many cars and trucks with hooked up systems over the years now all I wanna do is listen to that turbo six purrr down the road. I care so much about the system in my cars that I drove 12 hours from Bowling Green to Philly and when I was a few miles from home I realized I never even turned the radio on! :boxed: I have a nice system in my daily driver (Alpine CDA-9887 head unit, 2 Infinity self powered subs to rock the bass, and replaced all the stock speakers with Infinity speakers) because some days I need my music coming to and from work. One thing is for sure. The stock speakers and head unit that came in the TTA's sucked! And all these years later sound even worse! Also by keeping it off saves on the power antenna! :teehee:

Jason what one of those switches in the ash tray control the driver side ejector seat? I wanna make sure my finger is on it when I ride around in your TTA in Ohio! :WOOT: :teehee: :cheekiss:

Those switches are gone...Never could get that damn thing to sit flush with the ashtray.

O and I wired a switch to the antennae and the ant. never goes up because it is CD or ipod for me.

Your speaker install looks cool. I installed a Alpine with remote 3 years ago that will play mp3 formatted documents so Each cd holds about 10 to 13 albums.
I'm currently burning disc 43. I copy two of each cd so my cd album is duplicated once for the TTA and another for my Camry. Everything from The Rolling Stones to Miles Davis to David Cross (comedian) to Metallica to George Jones. I could drive around the world and not hear the same song. Overkill?..yes...Necessary? Not at all... Cool... oh yeah!
