"T" top lock keys?

My car didn't come with "T" top lock keys, are the keys the same for all the cars from 82-92? If so where can I get a set of keys so I can unlock my tops and remove them before the winter weather sets in? Thanks

The keys for the t-tops are the same as your door key ... unless the t-tops been changed?

If you had your tops switched out for glass under recall(until '96) the dealer switched your original lock cylinder to the new tops. If your like me and got new tops after the lexan ones broke, and after the recall expired, you will need a locksmith to key the cylinder to your door key. As the tops are more than likely from another car, or came from a dealer or repair shop that received them with another lock and key set.
