Thinking of buying a TTA, tell me what the negatives are

I have my eye on a real nice restored TTA that has a number of modifications. The car was done right and I am not concerned that it is modified.
My concern is, what are the negatives to buying a TTA, meaning availabilty of parts. Are all parts available today ? What is the most common problems with these cars. My concern is, if something goes wrong with it, such as engine parts, tranny, rear etc, would I be able to get it fixed or are some parts not being made anymore or available.
Any other reasons NOT to buy one ?

Well,
Let's see!
Rear main leak is common.
Sometimes people have a starting problem (I do every so offen).
Some parts are hard to find.
TTA owners bid the price up real high on ebay for 20th TTA related stuff! :D
You will want to drive it all the time.
You will drive fast all the time (at speed, these little V-6s are hungry like V-8s! So, gas will disappear fast!)
You may collect tickets!
You will embaress other drivers with high $$$$ sports cars! :P
But the big problem................no V-8 sound!!!!

These are just a few,

George
