I have BFGoodrich KDWs all the way around and I would definitely buy them again. I originally bought them just for the front and had Nitto DRs on the back and then when those were done I bought another set of BFGs for the rear too.
I highly agree with Jared. I have the BFG Gforce TA KDW on the front and love them. Have a very nice road feel. This is interesting...I was going to link you to the tires we both have but tirerack.com and discount both do not list the specfic tire any more. I wonder if they are still making them?

If you can afford them and you like the style the Goodyear Eagle GS-D3s are supposed to be really nice http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Goodyear&tireModel=Eagle+F1+GS-D3 I've heard good reviews from all of my friends that have had them, they're just a little too pricey for me.

I had them on my original wheels and ran them all the time. I only drove my car for about 3k miles a year then and only on nice days. If I were to do it again I wish I wouldn't have gotten them since they tore up my rear fenders pretty well from all the rocks they throw at them.

X3 Separate wheels.
I did have my parts manager look for the BFG KDW's yesterday. They were discontinued. I had him check a couple of different sources but none left in any of the warehouses we pull from. Sorry man.
Now I really don't know which way to steer you now. I was so sure that those were "the ones" to recommend. Good luck!

Did you get a set of GTA rears? or just any old 16" GM wheels.
I was wondering if a set of 15" T/A wheels from any mid 80's would work, I mean clear the rear calipers. Seems 15" DRs are much more plentiful and have some size choices.

I got 16" GTA rears and painted them gold. I really don't think the 15" wheels are practical. Some guys have started grinding on the brake calipers and tried different tricks but I think the 16" is much easier in the long run. Look at the clearance of a 16" from our brakes some time. It isn't much.
Just buy some 16" MT ET streets for the rear if you're racing. You won't regret it. I'm really not sure for street driving what to recommend.

I put new sneakers on #14 about 500 miles ago; BFG g-force sport. Nice tires. Decent traction, good handling, W speed rating(168mph) and $105 apiece from the Tire Rack. I'm very happy with them. Wet traction is supposed to be less than good, but I don't take these out in the rain, so it doesn't matter. I think they're hard to beat for the price. Plus, they look good.

I agree. Price and quality seems to be very good. My friend has them on this 94 Camaro and loves them. They look sharp when they are clean too.
