I got to chat with some fellow memebers here who had their TTA's at the event. Unfortunately it didnt work out for me to bring any of my cars down, so I was just a spectator. But it still was a great time and the cars shown were just amazing!

I didnt make it to Tipp City, so the photos are just from the show. Enjoy!
 
Very nice thanks for sharing! Did they offer classes for just the TTA's or was everyone dumped in general population??

The five (?) 89 TTAs were dispersed throughout the 3rd Gen classes as per their respective modifications.

"We" were badly outnumbered by the 80 - 81 "hot air" 4.9 TTAs :rolleyes:
 
My opinion, the 89 TTA is better off showed at a turbobuick show. As being shown in their own class. Most people are interested in the engine and performance anyway. It worked in 2011 in Hebron at the reunion. These cars are a misfit, so might as well make the best of it!
 
I felt as tho we were well rec'd by the "Firebird" crowd in general, especially as basically total newbies. Each person of course has their own specific interests, but everyone was friendly. A few even "got" my UNBLAK tag.
There were a lot of "anniversary" editions around... 10th, 15th, 20th (the best :thumbup:), 25th, and a bunch of 30th ones... tons of gorgeous cars. It was especially fun to see the "brand new" [70 miles on the clock] TTA.

In general, the crowd is friendly-everyone is there for basically the same reason-the love of Pontiac Firebirds and TA's. It's unfortunate they didnt have a special "annivversary" class, but I think with the new location and all, the organizers had a full plate.

The new location IMO was way better than the old, more room and lots of things close by within walking distance.

All the TTA's I saw looked great, you all represented our cars well. :cheers:
 
I liked the photo shoot we did with the F15 at the Airforce Base. The show was very fun and Tracy and I met numerous Trans Am lovers that had some beautiful cars and collections. We are going to meet up with some of them that live near us soon to check them all out.

just wanted to say it was great to put some screen names to some actual faces. It was also nice to see some old friends as well! We need to all get together next year at this show!!
 
This is a show that I've wanted to attend,next year sounds great!

TTOP350, is that your screen name on TGO as well?
 
I sorta liked this picture since our car was in the middle of a Red, White, and Blue group (yes, the blue is pretty dark)
What could be more American than a bunch of Trans Ams?
You can see "Strobie" at the end of the row, too :cool:

fwIw - I was corresponding with Scott (fiream773, chief judge) he thought that if there were more cars then there could be a "separate class" for us DontKnow:
