A friend purchased #942 about ten years ago. We have found out quickly that it had been wrecked and totaled at some point (salvage title now). Does anyone know any history about this car?
We are now starting the process of a rebuild. It was obvious the engine was opened up prior to this. It is the correct block (VIN stamped). Is there a VIN stamped on the heads anywhere?
As for the turbo, how can we tell if it's the stock one? It's clearly marked Garrett A/R 60. We're new to the TTA/GN world so we just want to see what we are working with.
