TTA and T-Type trannies

Found a stock T-Type tranny to put in my car while rebuilding the original.What is the difference in mounts,linkages,tv cable,etc.What will i have to use from my tranny to make it fit & work.Can I use my converter in the other tranny.Aren't our converters different from the stock T-Types.Thanks, WES

Wes,the trannies are identical.The only thing you will have to use from the TTA is the shift cable bracket that bolts to the trans pan and the shifter braket is a little different(t-types had a sort of column shift setup)You should see the differences when you have the out and next to each other.

Don't forget you need the speedo sending unit and maybe the internal gear from the old trans, as the Buicks used an old cable drive and the TTA uses an electonic sender.
