Did anyone watch the TTA go accross the stage last night,I did,it sure looked pretty !!!!Sold for $28,500,was a 10k mile car,cloth interior.Not a bad price,IMO.It did however show a minor fender bender/ accident on Carfax,wonder how much this affected its value,would have gone more if spotless record ?
They commented something of the effect,"you don't see these much".
As time has been going on owning mine,it's weird,I'm starting to appreciate it more and more every year,and can't wait for spring to take it out for a drive.Although,if any of you are from the Ct/Ma area,there is a winter show called Frank Mirratas Auto Show,this year is March 1,2nd.I'm contemplating bringing it and my 1,400 mile GN to put in the show.
 
That sounds good love to see it at the big e. I'm thinking of bringing my 69 camaro

Yes, 2 more, lot#689 with 7k miles, and lot#700 with 677 miles, both are ttop/leather cars.

Will also be interested to see what the lowest mile GNX goes for with 11 miles, lot#5005.

And just for kicks since I watch certain boats, lot#1162 is a Corvette boat with 6 hours, I saw it on ebay over the summer and it sold for $45k, see what the new owner makes or looses on BJ :)
 
Before I left for work I set up the DVR to record the shows. I wish they were still on Velocity on FIOS. Now the show is on multiple channels. Mecum is comin up soon and they are selling a GNX with 10K on it.

Well figure that, maybe something was wrong with the TTA with 677 miles...it only sold for $27,500, yet the 7k mile one sold for $29,700 and it was on the block before the 677 miler ??????
 
I don't get it,lot #689 TTA w/7k miles sells for $27k,thats less than the one with 10k miles,lot #111,$28,500.
Then the TTA,lot #700 with just 677 miles !!!!!Sells for only $25k,what are people thinking ???I would have banked on this one going for at least $35k.:eam:Is there something about the cars that we aren't seeing ?Condition/history,etc?

The GN's:
lot #93 ,87 GN w/15k miles,$23k
lot #98 ,87 GN w/I thought 30k miles,$25k
lot #100,87 GN w/22k miles,$18,500 (that one you can see dents and ripples on the roof as the camera pans over the car)So condition is what set the lower price on this one,I geuss.
 
So far from what I have seen the entire market has been down across the board. Give it a coupe years the TTA will be up there!
 
Nice thing about these cars is the fact that if you are looking for one to enjoy and drive, they are still affordable and most people could purchase one in decent condition if they really wanted one. They are fun, easy to work on and they will always be the coolest TA ever built. :) I will only care how much they cost if I ever go to sell one. lol

i noticed this car had some black sharpie behind the rear license plate. i was hoping for the cameraman to pan around a bit more to get a better look at it but he didn't. tried cross checking the VIN to the Festival Cars on list but there is a blank there so who knows. hopefully it will turn up here so we can see what car it is???.....

Geez, that boat along with the trailer went for $76k, if it wasn't a ghost bidder on ebay someone made a quick $30k in 6 months!!

Did note that the cloth interior Festival car, even with 10K on it and a repaired fender, sold higher than the low mileage leather interior cars. I would expect that the Festival cars to keep a higher dollar spread than the leather interior cars, and more so if they can be tied to notable or celebrity
use/ownership.
GN's have been stuck in a bit of a $$ holding pattern for years, but mid 20's is respectable.
 
Hi guys, I am a new TTA owner (see below) - coming over from several GNs and T-Types. I was at Barrett-Jackson to buy one of the three TTAs they had but settled on a 1,500 mile car at Russo & Steele as it was in the best condition and had the best documentation.

The 10k mile car was a "festival" car but had noticeable accident repairs but still brought good money IMO at $30,800. It was owned by a PHS guy thus could have got a bump from that history.

The 600 mile car was the worst of the bunch condition wise as it was missing emblems, had scratches on the rims, cracked rear spoiler and the head liner was sagging. It raised too many questions in my mind and must have with others to only sell for $27,500.

The 7k mile car was in excellent physical condition but I could never find the owner to see what documentation came with the car. At $29,700 it seems a fair buy without any documentation.

I really wanted a TTA with fully known history with all the original extras including the owner's kit, window sticker, dealer delivery docs, die-cast car, etc. I paid $35k for it which I know is at the top of the market but I got a dream car of mine with no issues, low mileage, and lots of documentation so am happy.:dance:

The GNX at BJ was also mint and brought $106,400...gulp!!!

Does your TTA have the decals on the door and/or windshield?
