TTA in Lemont IL International park way???

That was mine, TTA #613, could of been me or my wife, she may of driven it to work, she works off of International in Woodridge..... I sold the car at the Mecum auction last fall in St. Charles. You may see TTA #1040 around there too. No decals and black GNX wheels on it, the plate is RAYDER on that one. I loved that BADCARR license plate on #613. I had it on my original TTA back in 1989. My corvette is CARRVTE....my last name is CARR, our Town&Country is CARRVAN.

#613 is for sale at a dealer now in St. Louis and for sale on ebay.

Sounds good to me. Lemont has a small cruise night at The Lemon Tree on Monday nights, they start in May, and then downtown Lemont on Wednesday Nights. Another great one that is not too far from you is Downtown Frankfort on Thursday nights.

Jarred, as far as the "RAYDER" name goes, it was just something I came up to put a name to my vision or dream for the car. It's a little hokey, but it is my passion..... I have been trying to really document everything and pictures and it is taking a lot longer to complete the project. I am at the point of changing the color now and I am not sure if I can go through with it.....but here was my plan for the car....


TTA 1040 Arrives, let the "Rayder" Project Begin

I bought TTA 1040 with 56K miles on it for $4000 on 4/4/11. This car was heavily modified and raced hard at the track. This will be my new project, codenamed "RAYDER". Rayder is a synonym for Bandit and also ties into the GNX history of the X-Ray(A GNX painted White) as well as a play on words of Vader as the GNX was referred to as the Dark Lord of Buick Grand Nationals. I am going to transform this one into a GNX/TTA street/show car that is a tribute to the Car where the best Buick Engine Turbo 6 ever came from as well as our favorite Pontiac, the TTA. It already has the GNX style wheels on it and will get a GNX style paint job once the mechanical problems are restored. I think the GNX Black color and the gold 20th Anniversary emblems will give a special tribute to the Bandit Trans Am's of the past and tie the history of the GNX together nicely.

 
Here is a few pictures of what I envisioned it to be.....one was already done before me...this is one of the three pilot cars... Rob Lee met the owner and was trying to buy the collection at one point if I remember right, he shared these awesome pics of it...

Yeah I love black T/A's. Trouble is a great paint job around these parts with disassembly and engine bay, door jams, etc is wayyyyy to expensive.
