TTA on eBay...440 miles...

Shame someone mounted that front plate on a car with those low miles! My car was in 4 states that required a front plate and all the owners told me they said F it and ran without it. They could'nt bring their self to drilling into that nose!
 
no kidding, I HATE holes in the front nose, my two ttas have that and my 87 gta. Dang!
but I painted them with a little touch up pen so the hole doesn't look so big.
 
Here's an idea. Last year I bought a new Dodge Ram and the front chrome bumper has pre-punched square holes for a front plate. Lovely. So I got some Stainless steel nuts and bolts of the right size and used some chromed plastic snap caps over them. It looks pretty good. Maybe the same concept with white snap caps would at least look better than holes on your TTA.

No shit, I hate front plate brackets on TTA's. I'd avoid moving to a state that required them just for that reason, even if I got a better job...well like stated above I'd runnem without the plate and try my luck. Yuck.

I did something like that when I got my TTA. It had the front plate holder on as well. :(

I took off the holder, painted the screw heads white (using the touch up paint for our cars - still available at Pontiac), then carefully put the screws back in the holes (minus the plate holder, obviously).

Unless you are staring right at them, you can't see the screws - they blend in nicely. A cheap and effective alternative to having the car sent to the body shop to have them filled!
