Hello everyone, My first time here, just found your board from turbobuick.com. Anyway, I have a few questions regarding TTA's. I currently drive a '93 RX-7 TT. I really love this car, but it seems like more and more often having a two seater is beconing a problem. After playing with the turbo motor in our Sunbird, I started thinking about something 3.8 turbo powered. I really would like to still drive something relativly agile, and well, like a sports car. And the TTA seems as close as I am going to get. So I am seriously considering trading/selling my RX-7 to get a TTA. Does any one know of a TTA owner in the South Fla area(miami, Ft Lauderdale) I want to see if I can go for a ride in one to see what I think of it. Also in getting one, is there any areas I would need to be especially dilligent in checking out?? Do they have any known problems? I know the 3.8 is a pretty durable motor, so what abou the rest of the car? Also how can one verify that the car is a real TTA, I realize the engine is a pretty good give away, but it can also be put in a TA if one wants to bad enough (I know, because the 3.8 in the sunbird was NOT a drop in). I'd ask what one should pay for one, but I know what a can of worms that question is. You have a nice BB here! I looked around a while, and was impressed.
Thank you for your help.
Jay
