Yesterday was probably the first car show in downtown Escondido for the year. It was a charity event and the turnout was fantastic. Most cars are 1975 and older as a rule. I was shocked and amazed when I strolled up on a Turbo Trans Am. The hood was open for all to inspect the very clean engine bay. My friend and I stood there for quite some time admiring the car because I own an '85 T/A and enjoy anything Thirdgen. We were hoping the owner would engage us in some conversation, but no one stepped forward. I was disappointed to say the least because I wanted to talk Thirdgen with a fellow owner. So, if the owner of that fine Pontiac is reading this, I want you to know that I enjoyed drooling over your car and wouldn't mind meeting some time for idle chat.
