Tta Sitting In A Yard

Well my buddy told me awhile ago that there is a tta sitting outside in a guys yard and looks like it's been there for years. Another friend of mine verified that it is indeed a 89 tta. They are both Ttype owners so I trust them. As soon as we have a decent weekend I'm gonna go up there and try to purchase it. What do you guys think is a reasonable offer assuming it's just a parts car? Will keep you all posted.
 
In the end it really depends on what you are looking for.... a parts car ? trying to flip it or just having fun ?... either way remember that rust is a death sentence so offer $ accordingly.. usually if its beyond repair or not worth fixing then $1500 to 2000 and thats only if you have a need for parts.. unless you are like me and have the room for it IF i get a good deal...lol
 
im assuming its junk and rusted beyond repair. We are in Kansas heart of the rust belt. I would definetly part the car out to make some side cash and get parts to people who need them. Im gonna offer 1000$ and go up to maybe 1500$ assuming its a rusted out pos.
 
There is some money to be made if you can sit tight for a minute... most people can't but to me that is the difference between a dealer and a fan, you do it for the love/hate of the car... if you gain in the process that's great.... just don't bet any money on it..;)
 
Robert is rite. Most tta owners are cheap as hell. Take Robert for instance.....he didnt even buy one of my custom TTA badge signs. Wanted 1 for free.
 
These posts about a tta found behind an old tree and what's it's worth get old. A huge waste of time. Snooze fest
