Yeah, just watched it go thru. Somebody got a nice car for a nice price. I thought it would go a little higher. 38-39??

Yes, saw that one too. At least this is one of the few times a third gen brought more than a 2nd gen.

I have been watching the auction on and off since it started. Have seen some of the other TA/Birds that went thru.

Some of the 4th gens were not bringing much. Also an Indy Fiero with 500 miles was of interest. Brought 13k, but "The Bid Goes On." They should have sold it. lol
 
Well, I guess we can safely say that a t top leather car with super low miles is not worth 54K...
 
BTW - anyone know what the car will cost the buyer with fees and commissions? I would put that as the true cost of the car and what someone was willing to pay.
 
Good deal... Gosh, I'd hate to sell my car right now. Everyone wants prime rib for the price of chicken nuggets.:fuckkk:

Kymmee, thank you for posting the video.

Sounded like the Auctioneer started out at 40K, then dropped quickly until the bidding got rolling.

To think I threw my HT on the market for $28k...and got not one phone call, even though it's in almost new condition. Crazy! Maybe I need to do Mecum.
