TTA Transmission Rebuild Shop

Anyone have a recommendation on where to get a quality rebuild of the stock 200-4R transmission for TTAs? My car has 49,000 original miles on transmission and its not as sharp shifting as it once was. I want to keep it a matching numbers car and have the original transmission rebuilt but I've heard bad stories about many shops not knowing how to work on TTA transmissions. Would you go with Art Carr or TCI...I live outside Washington DC in Maryland and would be willing to ship my transmission to a reputable shop.

Coan Transmissions in Kokomo, IN 765-456-3957 did a first rate job on mine, they also loosened up the converter a bit( they are a converter manufacturer also).
For your info, these transmissions need to be run with about 3/4 quart EXTRA trans fluid to keep the pump pickup covered with fluid on those hard turbo axcellerations!!

R U serious about the 3/4 extra quart of transmission fluid? It makes a little bit of sense, but will it hurt anything in the long run? Does anyone else do this?
