TTA Watch On Ebay

There's an old rumor I heard once that some original TTA jewelry exists. Specifically I think there were some rings made. They were given to executives at GM during a meeting, maybe when they announced they were making the car. There was also supposed to be some matchbooks with the TTA logo on them and a few other items. But I've never seen proof of any of this.

Prior to posting this, I ordered one. So I am the first guinea pig to get one.

I'm not much into collectibles but I do like my watches! especially chronograph watches so I'm very interested in how this looks when you get it. Could you post pictures of it? with something to show scale next to it? like a quarter or something.

Yes sir, will do.

Wow - Jan has to get that! His collection of memorabilia won't be complete without it!

Missed that one ... nice "bling" piece ... and looks like a nice photoshop job as well ...

I stick to my TAG Indy 500 watch I wear :teehee:

I ordered one of those watches a while back. CHEAP JUNK. It was broke too. Big hassel to get refund. This is one of those picture looks better than the real thing.

I guess If your going to wear it and not expect it to work it be ok. Might be a little embarassing when it falls apart on your wrist though...

The watch came in today, it is better quality than I expected. The metal band is a little too large for my wrist, may have to take a link out. Here are a couple pics to scale it with. Overall it is a nice watch for the money, 20th aniv. logo looks really good with no flaws.

No after wearing it for a while I think the size of the band is good. If I took out a link it would be too small.

I got one from that guy with a turbo six on it some years ago. Lasted about 3 months and started loosing time and turning my wrist green. The logo was also not centered right on the watch and that alone almost made me nuts every time I looked at it! lol I mean for the money it's one of those things you wear once or twice a year at a car show with the car or something but you have to consider them throw away watches that way you won't be mad with it when it breaks a few months down the road :) Like Jan, I'll stick to my real TAG if I'm gonna wear a watch out :)

tag has an indy 500 watch?

that is interesting.

quartz or mechanical? mechanical automatic?

Any other quality watches about indy 500? or cars?

I know Porsche had some good watches in the 80's with real swiss movements. Valjoux movements. I forget which one. 7750 maybe. There was even a lot of them recently discovered NOS, and sold for very low prices. Nice black watches with automatic valjoux chrono movements. I would have bought one if I knew what I was doing at the time.
