Turbo Gauge Still Inop

Well I fixed & rerouted my vac hoses correctly at the MAP & Waste gate solenoid. I installed the .40" orffice into the gray Y connector I received from Johns Performance. After the road test ,my boost gauge is still inop. If I jump the 2 pins at the MAP the gauge goes to 20psi. The MAP looks to be original & has a small 3-4 inch mini harness with what looks like a resister inside, is this normal? Could I have a bad MAP possibly? Ideas anyone?

That adaptor harness is typical. And it is possible that the MAP was changed to the 2nd design and the pigtail is no longer needed. Take it off and plug the MAP into the harness without the pigtail and see what happens. If nothing, put it back in.
