If it is a TA-49, (still not a 100% sure yet) I'm cool with that, I'm glad I pulled the cover off to clean it or I never would of known & assumed it was stock. I'll assume for now that the torque converter is stock (I'll check later) if I can (but you know what they say about assuming). I was planing on getting the TT chip w/matching 42lb injectors anyway, but I'm glad I didn't order yet, just finding out about the turbo and all being different. Theirs already a test pipe w/a manual cut out & the rest of the exhaust is stock. Depending on what I do with the exhaust, I may put a high flow cat on with a nice 3" stainless exhaust. I just picked up a nice scan tool that I can read live/currant data for OBD1 & 2 , for tuning the engine right. I'M NOT going to be racing this car, & I would really like to keep it as original as possible, minus a few bolt-ons that were on the car when I got it. I just want too know what's on the car, so I can tune it properly & accordingly.
BUT, if smart !@$ pulls along side me at the red light revving his engine, I'd like to be the wolf in sheep's clothing that he never saw it coming, if you know what I mean.
The previous owner bought it for investment purpose & really never drove it for the few years he owned it, never registered or titled it in his name till I bought it either. It was from Wisconsin originally, I have the original window sticker, but don't know the 1st owners name. Thanks again for your input & advise, its very helpful.
