Evening friends, I am looking for a a source to find the hose/tube that connect to the Y fitting off the turbo. The only source I could find was through Johns Performance but, apparently he's no longer in business. The car has been neglected for quite some time due to living arrangements and I now finally have a garage which is secure. My view on it over the last couple years where it has been parked is, the less people know its there, the better.. where it has been parked lately you would think it was a barn find (though thoroughly covered and not exposed) but crime in the area can be bad. Needless to say, I cranked it several times and then reconnected the orange wires to the battery and she fired up amazingly well and all scanmaster numbers read within their ranges from what I do remember. Anyways, the lines at the turbo are completely dryrotted, must worse than I recall, as in - they may as well not be connected at all. Do we have a replacement part for these or another suitable option?
The work done on this car was many years ago, id say back in 2002, by a reputable mechanic in Andover MA, long before I moved to SC and because it's been so many years since ive been active with these cars, I have forgotten most everything. As of now the car is mostly stock, appears to have an adjustable waste-gate, typical k&n and a chip which goes WAY back, scanmaster, shiftkit etc. I ordered the 5.7 chip recently and still waiting for it to arrive, burned with typical stock setup for hopefully better drivability and pull less timing. At this time I just want it running well and after that I will look into upgrades, especially when theres decent race gas available here at the pumps (unlike where I was in MA at the time).
