I love those Firehawks. I beleive i saw a green one sold at Barret-Jackson afew years back befor I bought my TTA- I think it only sold for $19,000. I wish I owed it!!!
I think also some of them went for up to $60,000 new depending on the performance package ordered.

Hmmm, I kind of doubt it was a '92......(someone please correct me if I'm wrong).........I believe all of the '92's were red (maybe they painted it, but I doubt it)

I raced one outside of Evansville/Newburge Indiana back in 1993. Only mods I had then: K&N with removed road light with ducting up to filter, Adjustable Act., cutout on stock downpipe, Tech 1, stock GY Gatorbacks, Race gas (104 no lead, available locally) 20psi.
Beat him by 2 cars.

edo:There sure wasn't very many made. There were supposed to be Two hundred and something built but I think it was actually cut down to a production to 25 wasn't it? I know there were three that were actually pulled through as 1991 models and made into firehawks. I think it was number 3 from 1991 that was for sale with 15,000 mile for something like $25,000 two years ago. I should have bought it but with my new business it might has well have been $250,000 because I just couldn't come up with the money for ANOTHER toy. Couldn't make myself sell the pace car and still have to come up with cash. VERY cool cars though.

I love them. Besides, 6-speeds are cool and I really like any car you can get right off the car carrier with a factory roll bar!

Ive got a 91 GTA and that Ive owned since 94.......I still wish it had the previous front clip. I like how it looks from certain angles but at others it just looks awkward.

I think that Pontiac got the F-body just right from 85 to 90. Clean lines, not overly showy. Think about the 89 Iroc-Z compared to a 92 Z28 I like the 89 Iroc better. The hood looks funtional at least, the 92 looks like they glued some crap to the hood, which is akin to what they actually did. It's like chevy dropped acid during the design phase... Not as drastic however, but I think Pontiac was too anxious to re-create the "Banshe" concept car and made the nose a bit long.
I always thought the Pontiac F-body looked better than the Chevy F-body, all years...The T/A always had something more unique, more of a refined racer than the chevy's cruiser. IMO it competed with the Corvette more than the Z28.

Both cars look great. Brings back memories seeing those photos. The video was very cool.

I agree.. The interior was wayyyy better looking and had a higher end look to it. Tha camaro interior looked cheap and unrefined to me. I will say that I really liked the body lines of the early IROCs.
