Decode 3rd Gen Firebird VIN - Trans Am World
The 5 (3rd position) is not listed but it means "incomplete vehicle" as GM were not the manufacturer of record rather PAS Inc. (warranty purposes and did not count for the CAFE standard GM would have had to deal with).
