Was this for real?

I think it was legit, I sent the guy a message for some pics. An hour later he responded that the car sold within an hour. I wanted that car, but there was no way I was going to bid without seeing it first.
 
I am not sure that my "saved search" picked up on this?
If sold for that price, it would seem that the seller "left some money on the table" :wall: ???

Yes, I agree, would want pictures first, just to make sure it was actually a TTA. If so, someone got a very good buy.

Maybe we will hear more about it.
 
I think it is real, it is in our TTA registry. It could be a good deal for someone. I would still have to see in person though!

Yeah, if I had the room I would check it out and make an offer. Just to have all the extra parts would be worth it. My garage is full, I just put the little guy (Indy Fiero) up for sale this week,:( we'll see what happens. Dont need to sell, but it would be nice to have some room to walk around.:cool1:
 
As long as there is no rust and by that i mean rot , it's not a bad deal as Kymmee said there is that much there in parts...:yes:
 
Robert I wouldn't mine having another one, but this is not what I am looking for. I would like to have one that don't need any work. I don't think many of them exist!
 
It was hard to tell from any of the pictures if it had rust. There were no undercarriage shots. From the vehicle history report, it spent part of its life in Massachusettes and Connecticut and then Illinois. All snowy places. Hmmm.
 
Well comparing apples to apples, the lower mile car appeared to be mostly original.

The other had 130k, non stock hood and a bunch of engine mods.

So IMO the better deal was the lower miler for $6800. But then again if I saw both cars in person I might think differently.

I think everyone would agree that these cars that are selling for lower amounts aren't helping the values for us enthusiasts who pamper them.

I don't think they hurt the value of low mileage cars, they are what they are and the price reflect's that, on the other hand if a 14k mile car sells for 12k then that's a different story...:jaw:
 
Just because the auction ended and it says sold does not mean the deal went thru. Check the sellers feedback if the buyer left feedback for the actual transaction.
