wastegate solenoid

does anyone know how many vacuum lines go to the wastegate solenoid ? there is only one connected to mine though it looks like it has a place for another one ,engine idles rough looking for the obvious first any ideas? #308 thanks,rob

The other one is for a filter which is made out of foam. You can still find these filters, some of the vendors have them.
 
That filter dissapears pretty quickly ... the original solenoids had a small metal clip that were supposed to hold the filter in place I beleive.

Anyway I put just a small drop of black silicon (gasket sealer) on then put the filter on there that way it seems to stay in place and so far not lost one after that.

Used rtv silicon on mine, has been on there about a year, even stayed on there when I washed the engine. Back when John Pearcy had Johns Performance he told me to use it.:yes:
