Went for a cruise, Nice weather tonight.

Nice... gotta love the big boost with alky...mine spools a little slower than stock but when you get into it...WOW....

I am jealous. I have had #1040/Rayder for a year now and only had it at my house to enjoy for about two weeks. Took it out today prior to dropping it off at the paint shop and the right rear caliper fell off. I guess the 9 months it has been sitting in two shops, the threaded bolts somehow worked themselves out, the two that hold the caliper on were gone, and the caliper was just dangling there banging around the wheel. Scratched up the inner wheel well a bit, destroyed the caliper with with brake fluid all over and beat up the rotor. So new caliper, rotor, and pads for both sides. They were Wildwood too.... but at least I could order just the pieces I needed and not the whole set. Another delay prior to the paint....Cha Ching.... cha-ching... never stop with the mods.....
 
While the brakes are getting fixed, I might as well get the gas gauge fixed too. It is stuck on E and my guy doing the interior mods checked the panel and said it was NOT getting a signal, so believes it would be the sending unit from the tank that is bad. Rock auto has two for sale, a spectra for $130 and a Doorman for $159. Anyone else had this problem or had to repair/replace their sending unit and have an idea how long it would take to do it? I am guessing you have to drop the tank to replace it.

Yes the tank has to come down. Might be a good time for a fresh fuel pump if there is any worry about its age.

8 hours give or take.

Get the Dorman unit. Put a new walbro 340 in there while it is apart.
 
Kman this is the pump I am using, found the box to it. Used it with the hotwire kit. It is the Walbro 340 for the TTA.
