Last info I read was he took it to a local auction in Michigan (with a reserve) and top bid was $37.5k and he turned it down. Remember he was offered 40k early on. Smoke Signals mag is supposed to do an article on it. IMO 65k is a little steep, even though it is what it is.

IMO, a car like that would make a good museum piece but require a LOT of work to make it a driver. Any car sitting that long is going to leak just about every fluid. Gaskets, seals, hoses, etc. aren't meant to just sit that long and not be used. These cars leak enough even when they are cared for! I could see $40k for the car...I just wouldn't risk my life getting behind the wheel of it!

I looked at all auction images to see if it may be worth attending, but it looks like they have only about ten cars scheduled to run. Is this correct or am I missing a list?

Last I heard it went back in the barn until its worth the $65k he's asking for.... might be a few years or decades.... hopefully years for all of us ..
