She is working full time, going for her PHD, and I'm leaving the plans to her. It should make time for me to shop for another TA.

Having gone through the engagement then the wedding part a couple times now I've come to a rather simple analogy of what your role,the man(small case), really is...
You are to the entire process... the place kicker in a football game. Your job isn't to call the plays,run with the ball, catch the ball, do any interviews ro claim any kind of credit whatsoever.
Those rolls are taken by the bride, her close friend and her mother.
Your job is to look good and stand on the side lines...come out when called, do your little part and then go back to the bench.:whistle:

Yes, so true...and then the kids come.And then you pay more to become the "stupidest person in the house"
Somedays I wonder how I find my way out from under the covers without being told how to. :dumb::dumb::dumb::dumb::dumb:.

No, on the contrary your wedding day will be much more enjoyable for those not involved (the groom). As long as you know your place going into it then your way ahead on the learning curve.
Sure, you have to fain some interest in the "decisions" that need made but always defer to the quarterback on the final.

I went thru a divorce once, and even to this day, I realize I never should have married that one.
However, I have a keeper now, even though we are not married, having been with her for almost 15 years now.
There are many ways a man thinks he is a man.
Just be yourself, and work things out whenever they seem to be going bad.
