Woodward Dream Cruise!

Do any of you guys live in the Detroit area? I've been out all week and I've seen two other TTA's, but not spoken to anyone. I live in the burbs 25 miles south of Detroit and earlier today say a dozen or so hot rods fom out of state so my guess is Woodward will be cranking once again. I'll be out in the TTA tonight. If you guys see me say Hi! I'll be in either of these Friday or Sat. See you there?

Not too many Detroit area guys here I guess? If you've never made it to the Detroit area the week of the Dream Cruise you really need to give it a try! You'll see everything from Superbirds to The Ford GT's. Virtually all special interest cars are represented. I saw an unusual amount of Amphicars this year. Here's a shot of my TTA from Thursday night. I cruised six days in a row. It was nice to get decent milage for a change. 22mpg in the TTA.

shoulda took a pic with my Goat parked next to yours that same night! lol Looks great in the pic. Saturday was sweltering but a great day too.
 
I was down there with my 95 Z28. I did see 2 pace cars, one with decals and one without. Both were driving down on-coming lane so I could stop to talk. I was wishing all weekend that my TTA was running for the event. Since it is 1000 miles round trip is was my first time attending the dream cruise. I was impressed, nice show!
 
Was out Weds and thurs. but had to go outa town on friday, We had three TTA's at the Moose persurve weds along with 50 turbo buicks.

Lets find a time to meet up in Sept.

I wasn't there, but alot of friends from MiFbody.com were. Sounds like it was a good time!! I'll be over there Sept 11 (rain date is Sept 18) as a bunch of us F-body owners from the Grand Rapids area will be meeting up with a bunch from the Detroit area.
 
I was there too.. the 6th time.. love it.. this year may have been a little down for all those other reasons on earth but it made it possible to get around easier...
Spent most of the time around the Pontiac Loop. Did not get to see one TTA.. but thats not unusual hey, just too much to see.
