You don't even need a repair kit. It's really easy to fix with stuff laying around the house.
That is great. I needed to do mine as well. I was going to buy the replacement ones from Autozone or Advance. I think they are $60? a piece but come with a lifetime warranty. I'd rather keep the original ones and rebuild them though. I also see they have a rebuild for the hatch pull down. Now if only they had something for the antennae.Those 3 nylon/plastic bushings have started to disintergrate inside the lift motor. Pretty soon it won't go up at all and will run till it times out.

Try it with the hood up. Watch the knob you can use to raise or lower the headlight manually. Does it spin the entire time the motor is running or does it stop spinning first?
