pace car stickers vs none

What was the split on cars with pace car stickers vs not at the TTA show?

I will have to watch the vids!!!!!!

Man.....let's get together again this weekend!

When these cars were delivered to the dealer, it was the customers option whether or not to have the stickers applied. Some like them. Some prefer to be "stealthy".

I know that some owners had magnetic signs made up so that they could install and remove them at will.

I have the magnets, chose not to put them on at the reunion. I would say at least 50% of the cars had them, but it may have been closer to 60-70%. I like the look of the stickers and whenever I Repainted the car, I will probably put them on. I did see one car there with the non original looking aftermarket stickers.

I had my car the summer of 1990. It had the stickers when I got the car. So I date this cheerleader chick. She's pretty, but a total hillbilly. Her dad (also a hillbilly) thought I made the stickers at some print shop so that "ol firebird uhh-look, kool with some INdy stickers" People then-now don't know what there looking at 90% of the time. So, "stealth" really isn't issue IMO, most suckers in a mustang will rev at me and then get thoroughly smoked like a ham when the light goes green.

Oh yeah, I've argued with "the uninformed" till the point at which I started making up stuff just for shits & giggles.

I remember when the Firehawks came out in 1991 - I loved that car. They are impossible to find and big bucks, but I would love to find one.

I raced a brand new one in Newburg Indiana back in the early 90's.
Nice looking car. Cool wheels too. The motor sounded strong... for about 2 seconds at which point I didn't hear it any longer ttarider

the stage 3 was like 385hp i think ..... you can google it im a lil intoxicated lol

I've seen a few at the TA NAts including the one Hawk owns from Hawk's Third Gen. That $40-45k was more like the price ON TOP of the base car. I've seen original window stickers for $60k+! This was only 2 years after the TTA and people were complaining that was expensive!
