trying to find the best way to rig this coolant tank, it would be nice to piggyback on top of the batt, with a way to remove it easily, the other way in the pics it seems to be in the way of everything, also not sure if it needs to be at a lower level to work right, any ideas?

yeah, not a lot of choices, i thought about taking the washer jug out, since its never driven in the rain ttarider

If you took the washer jug out, you would have to run a longer hose to it.

By the way I noticed Jason had his mounted somewhere to the right of the radiator. I supposed there are other places than mine, but I like the way mine sets in the metal brackets.

but he took either the air box or charcoal canister out , since i have the maf translator there, may not be a good idea

I forgot you had the stock air box.

Mines like the 3rd picture, kinda just loosley floating along side the radiator end tank. I find the less stuff that is permamnent the better as it seems my engine is always coming out over the winter.
I originally had it mounted with Julio's supplied zip tie like straps, but after pressurizing the cooling system with combustion gases it expanded that tank and broke both of them.

guess thats why they have such big tanks, closed system, lot of pressure:bomb:

I don't have the stock airbox. The charcoal canister has been shifted a few inches.

Here ya go, one tie-strap to the maf hole, left the hose a little long to support the other end, out of the way now :yes:

Looks good. Switch the clear hose to a black hose...looks a little cleaner IMO.

Put it to the front side of your battery handle and it will sit still. Thats how mine is and havent had a problem with it. I have the same optima battery, so i know exactly how it fits. Steve Kiminski installed mine so i trust it will be ok over a long time.

I also just used a longer hose and tucked it underneath the air filter area on the driver side. Can't even see it. Been working just fine there. I didn't like the idea of it being above the battery in case the hose or tank leaks.
