Burned TTA

That car had a roll cage and some other stuff as well as the firehawk wheels.

The burned TTA's get way less attention than the Fiero's that burn up! At least in the media. LOL

Just stresses the importance of having a fire extinguisher in the car. I need to get one for the 350 Formy. All the others cars have them.
 
Hey guys, I have the crispy turbo t/a vin #1G5FW2176KL236953 no need to worry guys, no parts will be up for sale cleaned up on ebay,or any title washing for high profits. Im going to fix it then park it in my garage to collect dust......its not as bad as it looks.
 
I always wondered how you go about preping metal that had been burned like that.. you got a big job for sure, you need to find a TTA roller.
 
I already purchased a GTA donor car for 400$ for the sheet metal if needed. I figured any TTA as complete as my car is worth every penny of what i paid.
 
And on this whole Bobby Unser car thing I'm pretty sure I remember someone posting about this car years ago (like at least > 12 years) when it was for sale, possibly on eBay. I stated that it was in fact a festival car but it was up to the seller to prove it was Bobby Unser's festival car. Well that comment started a whole :censor: storm because someone got their panties in a wad over me saying that. Some people are just big babies, no matter how old they are. :drop: :thumbdwn: :bash: :boxing::chair::wall:
 
And those do appear to be the Ronal 17" x 9" Firehawk wheels. They are not the same as the 6 speed 180+mph car.

Kinda reminds me of Elvis, he has been seen in more place's after he died than when he was alive..:whistle: Now we have a TTA on e-bay, avg. cond., 64k miles that has bid over 25k, the seller also states that only half of them came with t-tops like his...:drunk:

How the H - E double toothpicks can a 64k mile TTA be at $24k when a there's a 14k mile one for $20k a few listings below it ??!?!!?!?!?

Nevermind....the last legit bid was $12k and now it's a bunch of newbies bidding it up (who probably have no intention of paying)

At least I got the sign out sheet for that one (the 64k sold on ebay) ... a Channel 4 guy warmed the seat of it during May 1989 lol

I spoke with him some time ago, he doesn't reproduce engine harness. He had a new one but sold it. To reproduce to time consuming not enough demand for what he would charge for it...

He's right....on half of them came with T tops that have 64,000 miles on them for $25,000...DOH. The fords in the background says it all.

I have the car apart now, im in need of an engine harness and a complete upper intake along with whatever other engine related parts anyone may have. my motor itself is okay, fire was pretty contained to the driver side. anyone have any leads on a way to obtain anything? im prepared for the high cost lol
 
I guess a few have burnt along the way. I have a 9 mile motor from one that was burnt when it was new. Dealership went up in flames.
