I really enjoyed what was all put together there. Otherwise, it's like George said.
Glad to see some action on this site and old buddies surfacing as well

George, plan on being in Long Beach April 21-29 any chance you will be out there? Pomona on the 22nd? Otherwise just ship your TTA stuff (Jim can have the empty boxes) to my hotel and I look after them for you promise!
All others I know (Dave, Ron, Jared, Jason etc) good to see you are still frequenting this site, all others I dont know yet welcome and look forward sharing my knowledge and thoughts with you all.

I hate it when people want your info (like the vin), your money, and you get nothing back in return.
It wouldn't have been bad, if you could see the info on a website, or something sent back to you.
To me, he's just after the money, like a few others in the TTA world. Take your money, and try to make a big name for yourself.

That's why I suggusted the registry to you way back when!
I remember when the maillist was going, everyone there hated this website, calling it a cheap copycat.
Well, it's the only one up and running, right? Ha!
Maillists are OK, but I like seeing everything on a website, all the time, for as long as the website is up and running.
Not having to reread everything over and over, just to see one more line added.
God, that thing got so long it took days to sort through.
Everyone just hitting reply with the whole other message/messages saved, egads, it was a pain to go through.
I am very glad to see this site still plugging on and on.
My hat's off to you, and all the people who visit here, and make this site rock!

Big Warbird meet there, all the military planes and others.
Called Fun in the Sun.
My Dad wants me to go, and we have been talking about it now for a few weeks.
If I don't go, I will plan on being out in SoCal then.
I'll know more latter this next month.
Any Las Vegas trips for you?
And I have no problem shipping empty boxes out to Jim in Philly! Ha!

And as George said, I think this web site is WAY better than having the mail list. I unsubscribed from the TTA list like 4 or more years ago as I was moving at the time and I've never looked back. Talk about no netiquitte, geesh! Let me send a reply that says, "Cool dude" to about 500 or so people.
Got charged by John as well (in 2000 or 2001), cant remember if it was $15 or $25 to be kept up to date with TTA specific info and parts but never got anything from him :-(

Let me know if you can make SoCal a bit closer, just asked to get my flights booked yesterday. Plan to go to Pomona on the 22nd as there's no Long Beach Swap Meet any of those weekends unfortunatly ....
No plans for Vegas unfortunatly, with my new job I do less of the world wide events I used to run in all the glamourus places around the globe :down:
Frederic, my son (JR for you Jim), is keen on a trip to the US and your neck of the woods George so might be we look at booking a shorter trip later in the year as we spoke about Grand Canyon and a couple of other interesting places and as you know I love driving so we would defenitly stop and stay for a couple of days ... I'll keep you posted

Well over the last two days I could believe it when I would go a couple hours of not reading the forum only to come back and see there's like 20 unread posts. Well this morning I get up and notice there's been 79 posts in the last 24 hours. It's great seeing this forum getting the traffic that it deserves. For those of you who have come back, stay. Chris and Jim have done a great job bringing this site back to life.

With all the recent traffic maybe it's time to have a chat room again. I remember way back in the day :wheelchair: using ICQ with the GN/TR guys and just AOL chat and IM with various owners over the years. Learned a lot about these cars. Just a thought.

We actually have a chat room on www.turbobuicks.net that we can use. We combined the sites just to get some more traffic on both. Seems to be working good. I'll make sure the chat room is up and running but go on the site and check it out. It's one of the quick link icon's on the top there says "Chat" I think if we made one just for this site it would not get much action. But between both sites it might work. Try it out see if you guys like it or not. We could always make a IRC chat room as well. :cheers:
