Well, I'm just happy the forum is back in any form...I just now found it again, as the old old bookmark does not work...has /forums/ instead of /forum/. I was afraid it was just gone.

^^^ that is what I was tryin' to say... but am not fluent in this format yet, and was using my [android] phone earlier.

That's where this is ALL not good. The NEW format is taylored to the I Phone users. I don't use an I Phone. That's ok, I got all the info on members that if I need to call them or contact them via email or phone, I'll do that. If they don't want to help, that's fine too. I'm just too tired of stumbling with ths. JMO

I voted for the new site. When it first came out, I could not stand it due to all the issues (search, links, could not log in) but it appears they have been fixed.

The point of this site is to share and make a record of information for TTA owners. That functionality is working. It takes time to adapt to new software and work out the bugs. I didn't see a way to cancel a (draft) reply. Current options are: Post Reply, Upload a File and More Options. I decided to test the upload a file option.

So i assume we are waiting on the results of the poll ? Maybe its just me but the gold letters on white background is hard to see, i thought there was a way to change it but i don't see it anymore.

I don't know much (anything?) about how a forum works, thus no idea of what here is permanent or can be "easily" revised.
I did attach 2 photos without the added "third party" steps in a post today - that was very slick!
As an "AARP-eligible" guy, I do agree with Robert ^^^ about the font colors.
FWIW, I really liked the previous smilie choices, and the option of not including a signature (IMO, this gets out of hand with long sigs and multiple posts).

I havent logged on much lately because I have been busy. But it is loading for me every time now without an error. I guess I am getting used to the new format. Have not tried to load any pics yet. Its like anything else, the more you use it, the more comfortable you get with it.

I own and run a forum myself that has been up for eleven years, a couple of years ago our forum software and hosting outfit was changed and supposedly for the better. I had no choice in the matter but to go along with it or start over. Like many I don't like change especially when I am comfortable and very familiar with what I am doing.

The changes were made and bottom line is I and the four hundred or so members got used to the newer format and even though as administrator I did not see much if any improvement over the old we moved on and all is well these days.

I would expect this forum would end up the same, as time goes on things will be tweaked folks will become more familiar with it's operation and all will be well here also.
