TTA's & Their Owners

Welcome guys.

We have such a great group of enthusiasts for these cars here and I am glad you are all a part of the forum. Enjoy these great cars and we look forward to many more posts from you all in the forum.

Bossbird, bought the TTA in North Highlands, Sacramento area. Same owner since 2000 and he responded to a wanted ad on Craigslist! Before that, the first owner was in the L.A. area. Are you taking your car to Goodguys in June?

June no, November yes!!! took it to June GG's a few years back.....thats the last time it was there....

I'm a 3.5. Mine is #1089 and its all stock. Mods to come! I had 2 at one point. 1 for show and one for go. To much street racing and it got stolen back in 2000. Now started driving on occasion the one I had as my show car. Just going for some bolt ons. These cars are so addicting.

Between 2 and 3. #205 has over 160,000 miles on it and is in pretty good shape. I want it to look as original as possible but plan on running mid 11s so it won't need a roll cage.

I would need a different category, except for the paint which is white although repainted with a pearl white that shines like diamonds in the sun, 2nd owner and trying to have everything stock as possible. Proud of car, love to drive it and fortunate enough to have bought a lot of nos parts, or as close to stock as possible. Problem finding honest people who know how to work on it. Would never race it, but having it at top performance important and again, need someone to work on it and not rip me off.

Bravesoul do you have any pics of that paint job? I was going to do something like that, but with gold flakes in it. But decided to stick with factory white.

Actually I do. They are on my cell phone so will have to transfer. You cannot really tell on the pictures as they were taken in the shade. I was a the reunion last year and in the sun, the car looks like it is coated in white diamonds, totally white but with pearl and opalescent to look like diamonds in the sun. I need to wash and wax the car again and will take pictures. In meantime I will download the pictures I took after I detailed the car for 14 hours before driving for the reunion. It is a beautiful look to the car. I wanted to keep it white, but I have to have something unique to me about it and that is what I did and a few people were crtical because it wasn't the original white, but it is my understanding if you keep the car white, albeit diamond looking in the sun, they cannot take off points. Not sure the judges abide by that rule or how they consider a car painted like mine but it is white, just a lot more noticeable. Thanks, its nice to know someone else thinks "out of the box"
